Starter Canvas Pack
===================

Four ready-made documents. Open the one you need, Save As under a new name, and start.
Never work directly in these - keep them clean so you can reuse them.

WHAT IS IN HERE

  screen_3000x2000_sRGB.psd
      3000 x 2000 px 72 PPI sRGB RGB, 8 bit per channel
Screen work. Big enough to crop into, small enough that brushes stay fast.
Layers, bottom to top: background (white) [locked] / sketch [35%] / line / colour

  a4_print_2480x3508_300ppi_sRGB.psd
      2480 x 3508 px 300 PPI sRGB RGB, 8 bit per channel
A4 portrait at 300 PPI. The default for anything you might print.
Layers, bottom to top: background (white) [locked] / sketch [35%] / line / colour

  a5_print_1748x2480_300ppi_sRGB.psd
      1748 x 2480 px 300 PPI sRGB RGB, 8 bit per channel
A5 portrait at 300 PPI - half of A4. Cards and small prints.
Layers, bottom to top: background (white) [locked] / sketch [35%] / line / colour

  screen_3000x2000.png
3000 x 2000 px 72 PPI an ArtRage starter canvas
Requested as screen_3000x2000.ptg. ArtRage's .ptg format is proprietary and
undocumented - it stores paint volume and wetness, not just pixels, and nothing
outside ArtRage can write one. A faked .ptg simply fails to open, so this pack
ships a correctly sized PNG instead. ArtRage imports PNG without complaint:
open it, set the canvas grain you want in Canvas Properties, then Save As a .ptg.

THE ONE RULE
Always use Save to save your paintings. Do not be tempted to use Export as if it were
Save - Export makes a flat picture and throws your layers away.

NAMING
  project_v01.psd, project_v02.psd, project_v03.psd ...
Two digits, so v10 sorts after v09. New version any time you are about to try
  something you might regret.
