Four Gradient Maps
==================

HOW TO BUILD ONE (about 30 seconds each)

  1. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Gradient Map. Put it at the very top of the stack.
  2. Click the gradient strip in the Properties panel. The Gradient Editor opens.
  3. Double-click the left-hand colour stop, type the DARK hex, press Enter.
  4. Double-click the right-hand stop, type the LIGHT hex.
  5. Click once under the middle of the strip to add a third stop. Set its Location to 50
     and type the MID hex.
  6. Type the gradient's name into the Name box and press New. It is now a preset you can
     reuse on any painting.
  7. Drop the adjustment layer's opacity to about 50% and set it to Colour if you want to
     keep your own values underneath.

WHY THERE IS NO .grd FILE IN HERE
  Photoshop's .grd gradient preset format is an undocumented, descriptor-serialised
  binary. A malformed .grd does not fail politely - it can make Photoshop's preset loader
  reject the whole set. Rather than ship a guess, this pack gives you the exact stop
  colours and positions plus an .aco you can load straight into the Swatches panel, so you
  can build all four presets correctly in about two minutes.

  <name>.png       each gradient as a 2048 x 256 strip, handy as a reference image
